Since I had my monthly period 2 weeks ago, I had been suffering from my with-aura migraine. I used to this days before and up until my menstruation is done. What I usually do is just taking in my medicines for my migraine.
However, lately, I just can’t understand why I feel like nauseated, opt to vomit and can’t easily read my notes cause of feeling blurry. On Thursday afternoon, around 3:00 o’clock, I and a classmate, was studying for our Clinical Pathology exam which was supposedly on that same afternoon but by 5:00 o’clock, when I suddenly felt really dizzy. Thence, my classmate accompany me to the EENT in our school’s hospital and had my check up.
My EENT here in Cebu City.
After more than 2 hours of checking from my eyes, ears, nose and throat, the M.D. ruled in Benign Positional Vertigo along with my With-Aura Migraine.
My medical certificate and prescription.
The M.D. pitied on me saying that I am still too young to have these stuffs on me. He even required me to regularly check my blood pressure, avoid eating what I need not to eat and drink like coffee, peanuts, chocolates which are my favorite and to take some rest and to have me visit my cardiologist and neurologists for my PVC and migraine.
He even laughed at me when he was reminding me of those above stuff like he said, “who in this world now a medical student would have a complete rest, wouldn’t take coffee?“. The culprit of all these? Basically, just my being a medical student.
I am now really trying hard to skip coffee during study period especially now that our 4th bi-monthly exam is coming and coming next is our final exam. Too bad for me.
