Allergies have different effects towards our body much more when it comes to sensitive parts of it. And since we can’t call a doctor instantly especially if we’re out to somewhere, it’s really important to at least have temporary solution to allergy attacks. Thus, having antihistamines is highly recommended.

There are plenty of brands of antihistamines. Thus, in purchasing a particular brand, make sure it won’t give you any side effects or bad side effects. If you are unsure of what to buy, you can try out Claritin instead. It is one of the known brands for allergies and has been trusted by many physicians. You can purchase it in pharmacies near you. Not just that, you could also avail its Claritin Clear Challenge which guarantees those who haven’t tried the product a 100% more effective compare to other brands of loratadine (kind of antihistamine). Although you can try out other brands still, but if you are not familiar with it, you can try the brand mentioned above.

Red Man Syndrome

Every time I hear “Red Man Syndrome“, and perhaps all medical professionals, there’s nothing that almost always pops out from my mind but the antibiotic Vancomycin.

Yes! Vancomycin causes Red Man Syndrome.

Red Man Syndrome is a manifestation of the reaction of the body when vancomycin is not cautiously administered. Vancomycin should be administered to patient at a maximum rate of 10 mg/minute for doses >500 mg IV. However, a concentrated or a dosage more than the previously mentioned will cause pain, thrombophlebitis and redness of the skin to the patient. Hence the term, Red Man Syndrome.

Allergies Associated with Decreased Risk of Brain Tumors

I do not know if I’d be glad for the newest study conducted showing that having allergies would less likely to develop gliomas, a fatal brain tumor.

If you haven’t knew it yet, I have a very bad allergies to even  a small portion of dusts that most often times lead to sinusitis. That is what, when I read the study overview, I am kind of glad.
