High Blood Pressure during Pregnancy lowers child’s IQ

A study conducted in Finland revealed that mothers who were hypertensive during their pregnancy would cause their children or child to have lower intelligence quotient or IQ.

Aside from the fact that hypertension during pregnancy could possibly affect the child’s size and weight, and being premature at birth. But hypertension on pregnant mothers does not only linked to these abnormalities on children but to the overall cognitive ability of the child when growing. Perhaps, when the child became adult, he would develop low IQ.
