Drinking Water May Be Bad for Your Health

How familiar are you with these statements below?

Drink plenty of water a day.

Drink as much as 8 glasses of water a day.

But don’t you know that drinking too much water doesn’t have any scientific basis, according to a study recently conducted.

In fact, drinking water may even be bad for your health since it could lower the salt concentration in your body. And for others, especially those who drink bottled water, chemicals from plastic containers like Bisphenol A (BPA) that leaches into the water and mimics estrogen hormone promoting human breast cancer cell growth.

    Anything in excess, even good things, can be bad. Moderation is the key. You didn’t say HOW MUCH is too much. Is 8 glasses a day too much? I think that’s the most important info. But thanks for reminding that bottled water isn’t really “pure”.
