Cebu Typhoid Outbreak

The Cebu typhoid outbreak has caused 3 casualties already and counting to more or less 30 people are still suffering from typhoid fever and recently admitted in Tuburan District Hospital, Cebu province.

    This is serious. Tuburan is supposedly a progressive town but it seems they can’t act quickly enough to stop the spread of the disease. In any case, it seems the entire resources of the province have been brought in to contain the situation.

    Lesson: Proper sanitation should always be paramount. It’s the simple things actually that gets us in or out of trouble.

    I can’t see the rosy spots! Anyway, I think people also need to be educated about this epidemic. So that they will know what they should do when it hits their home. And how they can decrease the chances of being a victim of this epidemic.

    They have to be on liquid (orange and/or milk) diet and total bed rest. I hope they are going to be okay soon.

    this is really quite alarming + is really very scary, especially if you are worrying about your little child…i just hope this epidemic ends soon + hopefully there will be no more casualties….

  13. hopefully these guys will be healed as soon as possible. Is there any vaccine for this?
