Smiley Summer is, by far, the season in a year-long when most of illnesses especially for children are rampant. Nothing more to use as prevention from such but taking of vitamins, having routine immunizations and taking food supplements.
One of the components of food supplements is arginine. Arginine is an amino acid that has a lot of functions for ones body’s immune system. It also helps to remove wastes compounds such as ammonia from the body. The most important role of arginine is for heart diseases and wound healing. It helps hasten wound repair and collagen formation.

Arginine supplements are also available in the market. However, since arginine is an essential amino acid, which means that it is mainly available in the body produced by kidney and liver, if necessarily needed, arginine supplements are prescribed. There are also natural sources of arginine such as plant and animal proteins, like dairy products, meat, poultry, fish, and nuts.

So, for this summer, taking the mentioned foods above could surely help one away from illnesses.
