I was completing my patient’s history to be submitted tomorrow before she’ll be discharged from the hospital when I get destructed with my right eyelid having something itchy and painful when touched near the lacrimal duct (passage of tears). Upon checking it in front of a mirror, it’s reddish and actually swelling. OMG. I suspect it as a stye. Gosh!

If am not mistaken it as a stye, thence, this would be the second time I could have it this school year in medical school. The last time I had this was in July 2009 which I suffered more than a month before it was totally gone. My ophthalmologist here in Dumaguete City even advised me to have it removed by surgical operation. I opted for eye drops instead.
But now, I do not know what to do with this. Exams are flooding. I can’t study well or even play casino online coz it’s really painful.
Eye drops please!!!

That looks painful. I know from the past that usually you just put a hot compress to the stye and let it come to a head. You can remove it much easier and without visiting a doctor. Last time I had one, it worked great.
By the way, I work as a virtual assistant of The Healthy Moms ( http://www.thehealthymoms.net ), the site is fairly new and I thought I would drop by some mom and health related sites to spread the word.
