The PINOY MD program from the Philippine Department of Health (DOH) and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to the Philippine Medical Schools , a 5-year medical scholarship program, are now growing and growing.
MEDICAL STUDENTS, like moi, good news to yah all!!! The PINOY MD program from the Philippine Department of Health (DOH) and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to the Philippine Medical Schools , a 5-year medical scholarship program, are now growing and growing.To qualify for the said scholarship, applicants must completed a Bachelor’s Degree with 35 units in Sciences 
subjects (Chemistry, Natural Science, Physics, Microbiology, Genetics). The applicant must have a GWA (general weighted average) of 2.50 or better and off course, must not be more than 35 years old upon application.

The applicant must have taken also the NMAT (National Medical Admission Test) and have a percentile score of 40 and above; with good moral character and haven’t charged criminally and must be physically and MENTALLY fit.
And the most important of this program is the willingness of the applicant to render two years of service to the Philippine Government for every year of scholarship. This would mean that the medical student would serve the government for ten years 
after graduation.

Kawawa ka naman. Anong nangyari? Anyway, I’m glad Pinoy MD scholarship program is still alive. Sabi nung skul ko wala na raw yan pero di pa rin ako maniwala. Now I am certain. Meron pa sila. Hope that I would qualify next school year.

I went to DOH Baguio regional office last week and i was so upset when the staff told me that pinoy MD is currently has no fund and pending in accepting new applicants.. She even told me that the fund was transferred to the new program of
p-Noy “RN Heals”.. Do you know other scholarship for med students?? Please help.. Thank you:-)
